First term course in Organic Chemistry, including structure, nomenclature, functional groups, nucleophilic substitution, conformational analysis, stereochemistry, and arrow pushing in organic reactions. Emphasis is placed on a conceptrual understanding of teh relationship between structuire and recativity principles.
